About this website
This tool was launched by me in early 2011 while I was studying for my undergraduate degree, then rebuild in 2022 with modern web technologies.
Since then, it's gone on to help students across the UK calculate a total of 5,000,000 grades 🥳
The maths is simple, but it can be frustrating to do on a calculator when what you really want is to play with the numbers, check whether you're on track for a 2:1 overall or see how well you need to do in your next essay.
unigradecalc lets you quickly type in as many assignments as you want without having to worry about getting the weighted averages right.
What's being said
Hello Leigh, many students use free online grade calculators these days, they're simple to use and do the maths for you - Our students recommend unigradecalc and GradeHub! Hope this helps and if all else fails ask your academics who will be happy to assist you ^Claire 😊

Favourite way to procrastinate- typing the worst possible scenarios into unigradecalc to see if I'd still get a 2:1

i spend more time on unigradecalc than actually doing my assignments

btw if the time throughout my life spent on unigradecalc working out just how poorly I can do in my modules and still pass was spent just doing work I'd probably pass
